Savvas Mourgos is poised to complete a loan move to Dutch second tier side Dordrecht.

The 20-year-old midfielder will link up with Dordrecht from July 1 on a season-long loan after impressing in the club’s development set-up last season.

Mourgos, who joined the Canaries in August 2017, will hope to emulate the success of Todd Cantwell who was part of a promotion-winning campaign at Fortuna Sittard in the Eerste Divisie last season.

Dordrecht finished 13th in the same league.

Mourgos will be the latest prospect sent out on loan to further their education with the likes of Ben Godfrey and Remi Matthews all pressing their claims to be involved under Daniel Farke following successful loan stints in the Football League last season.

The Greek youth international signed a two year deal at Norwich in 2017 after coming through the ranks at Arsenal.

Meanwhile, former Norwich City academy prospect Harry Toffolo could make his Lincoln debut against his old club when the Canaries head to Sincil Bank for a pre-season friendly on July 10.

Toffolo sealed a two-year-deal with the ambitious League Two club on Tuesday.

“This is an opportunity for me to play football, it’s not going to be given to me as I’m going to have to work hard to get my chance but I want to show the Lincoln fans and the manager what I’m capable of,” said Toffolo, who spent the second part of last season at Millwall.

“The manager spoke to me about what he wants from me, given me advice on what he would like me to improve on and what he wants me to keep doing, so it seemed a no brainer for me to do it.

“It’s a club where the momentum is going in right direction.

“I’ve seen it before in football teams (going in the right direction) and the crowds that were at the games in League Two last year were phenomenal last season and things will only get better as things progress and I firmly believe they will.

“I had international players like Martin Olsen and Robbie Brady in front of me for a few years at Norwich, which didn’t really pave the way for me and stalled my development a little so to get that opportunity to go out on loan gained me experience which was fantastic.”
