Bradley Johnson is convinced Norwich City can end a wretched Premier League away run ahead of their final road trip of the season at title-challenging Chelsea.

The Canaries have lost eight consecutive away league games in 2014 to sink into the bottom three, but Johnson points to Sunderland’s surprise recent win at the Blues as evidence of what can happen.

“Everyone had written Sunderland off going to Manchester City and Chelsea, but we’ve not got to worry about other teams,” he said. “We have to do what we have to do and that is get points on the board. It is about us, and if we can get our work rate right then I am sure we can do something. We have not brought up the away form among the lads. There have been no arguments in the changing rooms or anything like that. On a few away occasions, like at Cardiff and West Ham, it was just that lapse in concentration, but in this league, you cannot switch off against any team. We did that away at Cardiff and got punished when they scored two goals in two minutes, but anyone can beat anyone in this league. When you go 1-0 down, you want to get it back to 1-1 as soon as possible and when we have gone behind, we have been chasing the game. Maybe that is one of the reasons we have conceded so many.”
