John Ruddy has been chosen for England's World Cup squad – by the makers of the official England World Cup sticker book and trading card game.

The Norwich City goalkeeper has been pictured in the new England World Cup kit, revealed by Nike on Monday, in the Match Attax Official England trading card game and Topps Official England World Cup stickers.

Ruddy is in the presumed squad alongside undisputed number one Joe Hart and former City loanee Fraser Forster, who is now number one at Scottish champions Celtic.

The 27-year-old former Everton man is thought to be battling with Forster and West Brom's Ben Foster for a place in manager Roy Hodgson's squad for Brazil.

It is expected that Hodgson will pick an enlarged 30-man squad to start with, for Wembley friendlies against Peru on May 30 and Ecuador on June 4.

The squad will then be trimmed down to 23 players ahead of the first World Cup game against Italy in Manaus on June 14.

Both collections are available in all good retailers, newsagents and independent stores across England, for more information go to www.toppsfootball.co.uk
