The national newspapers’ views on Norwich City’s 5-0 defeat at Liverpool.
Sunday Mirror: “Ryan Bennett’s own goal completed Norwich’s misery and, in a sense, captured the futility of their endeavours . . . they must be looking over their shoulders again.”
The Mail on Sunday: “Suarez, taken to task by his manager after admitting diving earlier in the season, did not fall over once at Anfield yesterday despite some hefty Norwich tackling.”
The Observer: “Grant Holt and Jonathan Howson were never given the time, space or support in the visiting attack to suggest there was a route back against a dominant home display.”
The Sunday Telegraph: “Norwich, having conceded five to Liverpool earlier in the season, were torn to shreds by the ultimate in flat-track bullying . . . it must be said, they were tame.”
The Independent: “Suarez had scored hat-tricks in his previous two appearances against Norwich and this was another miserable afternoon for the East Anglian club.”

Nothing to disagree with in those "Nationals" comments. At least we`ve got another goalie on the way in..... Abject performance. Where`s the fight, the belief, the hunger? Even Holty looks downbeat. Worrying times; need to pick up quick win vs Spurs (after the distraction of a reserves outing vs Luton). Let`s hope, should we beat Luton - and we might not - that it doesn`t lead to the same misplaced euphoria as did that win over a lame P`bro side.

The photograph shows Mark Bunn trying to hold his head in his hands. Unfortunately he missed that as well.
