Florence Duffield, aged 14, and Matthew Hayward and Harry Shearer, both 16, will be travelling over to Ghent to race against many top European junior athletes.

They will compete in a marathon kayak race over 18 kilometres as part of a GB junior development squad that seeks to identify future stars.

The three athletes earned their places through their performances at races all over the country during the spring.
