“All in all it was a satisfactory performance, but, importantly for me, it followed a good one on Tuesday so it’s a bit more consistent than we have been so far this season and the first time we have had back-to-back wins,” hew said.

“We go to Canvey Island in the next round, but before then want to get a positive performance in our next league match as we aim toward consistency in the league.”

Wroxham were 2-1 ahead at half-time, struggling at times to get on top, but were well on top after the break.

Hayes went ahead on 33 minutes, but the lead was short-lived as Jamie Speller found space down the right for Wroxham and his well delivered cross was met by a Hayes defender, who put the ball past his own keeper.

Just before half-time determined running by Wroxham skipper Gavin Lemmon produced an opening for Josh Turner, who shot just wide.

Then in first half stoppage time Wroxham won a penalty, Blake adjudged to be brought down and Daniels stepping up to fire home. Wroxham they took control of the tie on 56 minutes, when Blake, who calmly fired home.
