A late flourish has swept Diss to the Norfolk SRA League’s Division One title. They finished nine points ahead of East Anglia III, who will have to meet North Walsham in the play-offs.
East Anglia III won their final match 20-5 at Fakenham but Diss had a 20-3 maximum against Barnham Broom II, a 19-3 victory against Broadland III and a 20 point walk-over against North Norfolk.

East Anglia II ensured they would finish third in the Premier Division with a 16-8 victory at bottom of the table Barnham Broom while Broadland won for only the second time this season, 15-8 against Bob Carter Centre.
At Barnham Broom straight game victories for Luke Doddington and Ashley Briggs and a 3-2 win for Andrew Woods over Simon Howling were enough to give the visitors success. For Barnham Jon Pearson beat Paul Bradnock 3-2 while Craig Aldred won 3-0 against Mark Rolfe.
Eddie Weber won 3-1 for the Bob Carter Centre and Andrew Trim won 3-0 but a straight games victory for Mark Thomas and 3-1 wins for Paul Atterton and Ian Cox made sure of the bonus points for Broadland. The two teams will soon have to play again ain the relegation play-offs.
Bannatyne’s II have moved to the top of Division Two after beating Beccles 18-5. Gareth Jones, Christian Oliveri and Dom Williams all won in straight games while Matt Green beat Liam Baines 9-7 in the fifth.
Cromer look as though they will probably just hang on to the second promotion play off spot despite losing 17-9 at home to Bob Carter Centre II. At the bottom, Broadland III beat North Walsham II 18-5.
In Division Three Potters II wrapped up the title with a 15-6 win over North Norfolk II. Barnham Broom III comfortably beat bottom of the table Cromer II 20-3.
