Council team lead the way

In the City of Norwich League, County Council are top after they beat Deaf Sports 12-2 away and Felthorpe 14-0 at home – R Gosling 9-5, J Moreton 13-10, M Roe 11-10 & G.Payne 16-6.

Thorpe Marriott opened their account with a 14-0 win over Old Bonds, G Clarke 15-4, B Mcpherson 18-6, T Turner 10-5 & S.Turner 15-9. They then travelled to Horsford Heroes, where despite only losing one block they were beaten 9-5.

A 13-1 home win over Costessey put Marriott back on track but for Costessey it was another defeat as they also lost 10-4 at home against RG Carter who had county captain T Brown win 22-3 Carters also beat Deaf Sports 12-2 at home.

Felthorpe scored another home win this time they beat Taverham 10-4 M Harris won 13-5 and captain J Green won 21-6 Taverham ‘s winners were F Mathews 12-7 and J Self 10-7.
