Chloe Smith, MP for Norwich North, visited Catch22 to meet with staff and pupils and learn first-hand the positive impact the school makes on the lives of young people.

Catch22 is a local alternative provision school which provides full time secondary education for young people who have been excluded from their previous school or pupil referral unit, who need additional behavioural, emotional or medical support than what is offered in a mainstream setting.

Ms Smith met with two year 11 students during a round-table discussion to learn about their stories and how Catch22 has been able to support them in improving their lives.

Ms Smith said: 'Meeting the staff and pupils of Catch22 was really important for me as a constituency MP. I always seek to understand and support the good work that local schools are doing, and that includes all kinds of learning environments.'
