Don’t miss your eight-page Young Norfolk Arts Festival souvenir supplement!
The Young Norfolk Arts Festival preview supplement gave us some great stories, and with the festival soon about to begin preparations are well under way for our second supplement which will give you the chance to relive the arts extravaganza.
The supplement will be published in the Eastern Daily Press on Tuesday, July 8 and is once again being produced by the Young Norfolk Daily Press team who will be out and about soaking up the atmosphere throughout the festival, with the action kicking off on Friday, June 27.
The team are looking forward to covering events in venues around the county such as Norwich Theatre Royal, Holkham Hall and Norwich Cathedral.
Among the opening weekend events being covered are the musical picnic at Elsing Hall, near Dereham, and Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, in Norwich Cathedral cloister.
The festival’s array of performances for the Lord Mayor’s Celebrations in Norwich on Saturday, July 5 - including a unique outdoor show The ‘Oss and The Ox - will also feature in the supplement.
Young Norfolk Daily Press team member, Jonathon Coe is delighted to be putting the supplement together and cannot wait to see the final piece.
He said: “I’m really enjoying working together to produce the supplement. We were all really proud of our first supplement and I cannot wait to see our second supplement finished and printed.”
Jamie Honeywood, another member of the YNDP team, said he cannot wait to experience the atmosphere within the picturesque Elsing Hall grounds.
“I’m really excited about covering all the festival events, but especially the musical picnic at Elsing Hall. It’s a great opportunity for me to cover a unique event in such a beautiful setting,” he said.
The Young Norfolk Daily Press team, all aged between 16 and 18, are: Charlotte Bonham, Harry Calvert, Beth Cleghorn, Jonathon Coe, Ed Colman, Imogen Crookes, Jamie Honeywood, Hugo Inkson, Ellen Parfitt, and Ellie White.
