A group of around 20 Norwich City supporters were reported to be among the England fans left frustrated by tonight’s washout in Poland.
The Yarmouth Yellows were visiting Warsaw for England’s World Cup qualifier, which was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch. The fixture has been rearranged for tomorrow.
One, named Keith, posting under the Twitter name @OfficialKeithS to former Canary Darren Huckerby, said: “20 of us Yarmouth Yellows in Warsaw at moment and most are soaked. Never seen rain like it.”
