Woman injured in New Year’s Day attack in Hemsby

A WOMAN was left with fractures, a black eye and bruising after being attacked by two females in a New Year’s Day assault in Hemsby.

The 50 year old victim was outside Hemsby Social Club in the early hours of Tuesday when she was approached by two women who then assaulted her.

The victim suffered fractures to her ankle, three puncture marks to her left leg, a black eye and bruising to her face and back. The attack happened between 2am and 2.30am and police are now appealing for witnesses to get in touch with them.

Anyone who was in the area at the time or has any information in relation to the suspects should call Detective Constable Richard Wallis on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
