A woman in her 80s has been taken to hospital with suspected smoke inhalation after a fire at her home in Sprowston.

Fire crews from Carrow, Earlham and Sprowston and an ambulance attended the blaze in the terraced house in Pelham Road just after 11am.

The woman was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with breathing difficulties.
