Woman charged after wheelchair user assaulted in North Walsham

A 70-year-old woman from Sheringham has been charged after a woman in a wheelchair was assaulted in North Walsham.

She has been accused of assault and was released on bail to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on April 11.

The incident happened on Vicarage Street at about 12.50pm on Tuesday March 18.

The victim, who is in her 40s, became involved in an argument and the assault left her with discomfort in a shoulder.
