A woman in her 20s was assaulted in Norwich.

It happened in Bargate Court, off Barrack Street, between 10.40am and 10.50am yesterday.

The woman was returning to her parked car when she was confronted by a man who got out of a burgundy coloured 4x4 parked behind her.

The man verbally abused the woman before jabbing her in the chest.

The man then got back into his car and drove off.

He is described as white and aged about 55.

Witnesses should call PC Michael Pearce at Bethel Street police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
