Woman pulled from lake at UEA is identified

A woman who was rescued from a lake at the University of East Anglia in Norwich earlier this week has been identified.
Officers were called to the UEA at 2.40pm on Wednesday after concerns were raised for the safety of a woman who was seen to go into the lake.
The East of England Ambulance Service and crews from the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance.
When she was pulled from the lake the woman was found to be unconscious and not breathing.

After receiving life saving treatment at the scene she was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by air ambulance where she remains in a critical condition.
Police released CCTV footage and images of the woman’s clothing on Thursday in bid to identify her.
A spokesperson for Norfolk police said: “We would like to thank the public for their assistance with this appeal.”
