A woman in her eighties was taken to hospital last night (Saturday) in a serious condition after she collapsed in Cromer.
A crew from the East Anglian Air Ambulance was flown to the seaside town at around 10.20am yesterday by Anglia One captain Steve Norris.
They arrived on scene within 15 minutes, where Dr Victor Inyang and critical care paramedic Rod Wells treated the woman and stabilised her.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said the woman had “collapsed” and that a rapid response car and ambulance was also sent to assist.
He added: “She was in a serious condition and conveyed to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by land ambulance.”
