The winners of a competition to spot Christmas trees around Norwich over the festive season have been presented with their prizes.

As part of the Norwichristmas campaign there was a trail of 31 trees. They were decorated by schools and community groups assisted by local artists, and a competition was launched for people to collect stamps from 15 trees. More than 1,200 people entered the competition which was won by 13-year-old Adam Fish, from Horsford. Rebecca Sibley, Brenda Bowler, Alice Futter and Michelle Bowen also received prizes.

Stefan Gurney, Norwich Business Improvement District executive director, said: “Many congratulations to all the winners, the real Christmas tree trail was a huge success and attracted huge amounts of interest with roughly 30,000 to 40,000 participants.”

The winners received their prizes at Norwich’s John Lewis store on Wednesday.
