To mark six decades of the UK charts, we asked readers to vote for which Number One single they thought was the worst.
The Teletubbies' single went double-platinum. The mind boggles trying to understand who on earth went out and actually bought this single. Hang your heads in shame. The results are now in and we can reveal that it was a closely fought race between Mr Blobby’s 1993 self-titled hit and children’s favourites the Teletubbies with Teletubbies Say ‘Eh-oh!’.
Both Number Ones polled 34pc of the votes, but a quick look at the counts shows that the Teletubbies just edged it with one more vote than Mr Blobby.
