We want you to get involved in Lord Mayor’s Celebration coverage
08:24 02 July 2014
As the city prepares for the annual Lord Mayor’s Celebrations, it’s time to tell you about the part you can play in our special coverage.
The final touches are being put to this weekend’s event, the pinnacle of which is the spectacular Lord Mayor’s procession on Saturday from 5pm.
More than 60 floats will feature at the highlight of Norwich’s calendar year, which is the oldest Lord Mayor’s procession outside the capital.
Our own coverage of this year’s celebrations is set to be bigger and better than ever before – and hopefully that will be with your help.
Saturday’s Norwich Evening News will be a special preview edition with 14 pages of information, maps, schedules and more – plus a very special guest editor. Ahead of that special edition we’d like you to tell us what the celebrations mean to you and why you think it’s important they are still held. Please email email@example.com
At the weekend log on to our website for up-to-the-minute news, reaction, video and photos of not just the procession, but all the many events taking place elsewhere.
Tweet pictures to #mylordmayors and see them on our special online picture wall and in Monday’s paper.
Alternatively, email pictures and video to firstname.lastname@example.org or use iwitness24.co.uk.
Monday’s paper will include pages and pages of the best pictures and reports from the weekend in our special souvenir editions.
See if you can spot yourself, your friends or your family enjoying one of the best weekends of the year.
