However, Anglian Water spokesman Chris Hayton said nearly 3,000 homes were still experiencing reduced pressure as a result of the burst main in Gibson Close.

He added: “We have isolated and re-zoned the main which means that all homes now have a restored supply. However, around 3,000 homes are still seeing reduced pressure. Once the repair work has been completed all homes will be back up to full pressure. This repair should be sorted for around 2pm today.”

Technicians from Anglian Water have been on site since 7.30am.

  • Wymondham's had a few problems with water the past few weeks. I'm getting fed up of it. There isn't even a 'Gibson Close' in Wymondham. I just google mapped it too. Its almost 2:30pm and still having issues. Ridiculous. This happened the other week.
