Music is filling the air of a Norfolk church this weekend as a 24-hour singathon takes place.

The fundraiser at All Saints Church, in Salhouse, started at 9.30am this morning and will run until 9.30am tomorrow - and as well as being able to watch the musical marathon at the church, people can also tune in online by clicking on the link on the top right hand of this story.

A clip from earlier today can also be seen above.

Choirs and individuals from across the Norwich area and as far afield as Nottingham are taking it in turns to keep the singathon going.

The musical fundraiser is in aid of a project to build a kitchen and toilet facilities at All Saints Church.

So far the Friends of Salhouse Church have raised more than £11,000, and they hope to raise a further £10,000 from the singathon.

The present All Saints Church dates from the early 15th century, and there are signs of a church on the site for hundreds of years before that.

Once the extension is completed, the hope is the church will be able to host concerts and other community events.
