Drivers have been warned to expect disruption as essential road maintenance work takes place in the city next week.
The carriageway at the Catton Grove Road roundabout with Woodcock Road will be resurfaced from Monday, with work expected to last for two days.
On Tuesday, week-long resurfacing works and safety zone improvements will begin at the Wall Road junction with Constitution Hill.
Roads will be closed, but side roads will be available at all times, and workmen will guide vehicles through the best route.
There will be no parking but businesses will be open as usual.
Work will also begin on Monday on Colman Road, near the junction with South Park Avenue, and is expected to take three days.
Traffic controls will be in place on the ring road and South Park Avenue will be closed to through traffic at the Colman Road junction.
Diversions will be signed, with access for homes and businesses on Colman Road and up to the closure point on South Park Avenue. There will be pedestrian access past the works.
Norwich City Council and Norfolk County Council have apologised for the delays while the work takes place.
