Cyclists are being reminded to lock their bikes to something secure after a spate of thefts in the Great Yarmouth area.

Recent thefts include a black Apollo Slant mountain bike with blue handlebars and a bottle holder being stolen from outside the Aldi store at North Quay between 2.20pm and 2.35pm on Saturday and a tandem cycle being stolen from a yard at Southtown Road between 9.30pm on Friday and 8.45am on Saturday.

Norfolk police said there have also been bike thefts in central Yarmouth and at Hopton and all cyclists are now being urged to think about the security of their bikes.

People with information on the bike thefts can call police on 101.
