The web TV platform – which can be found at – comes with five channels and more will be coming soon.

News and sport will provide the latest stories while travel and weather will give updates so you can plan your day and your journey.

Free Time will offer tips and suggestions on what to do outside of work and the property channel will feature anything and everything to do with the house market and more.

But that’s just the start and more channels are already being planned by the Mustard team.

Mustard managing director Fiona Ryder said: “This is just the start of the journey.

“There is a wealth of stories across Norwich and Norfolk that will never see the light of day.

“Video is a great medium for telling those stories.”

The news channel will does what it says on the tin: bring you the latest live stories and big news of the day.

Mustard Online is the online arm of Mustard TV and the web TV news channel will be full of 90-second video clips as opposed to the longer news bulletins that will be shown on the television station when it goes live later this year.

The online channel will cover a range of topics and subjects and if you have a story to tell then Mustard would love to hear from you.

Sport will play a big part in the Mustard schedule with the plan being to give a new twist to Norwich City FC coverage as well as showcase local community clubs.

Canaries’ press conferences will be covered and there will be a short fanzine programme for fans.

Away from Carrow Road, Mustard will be turning the spotlight on sports clubs serving their local communities.

A mobile kit guide – with suggestions for the best smartphone apps to download – has been put together and training will be offered to individuals within clubs on producing and editing good quality footage with a view to it being used on the Mustard Online platform.

We will provide more details on the guide shortly.

Localised travel updates will be provided to help you plan your journey and the new weather service – brought to you in conjunction with Weatherquest – will run twice a day with the forecast for your area of the county.

The property channel will be presented by Archant’s regional property editor Caroline Culot and will consist of a number of exciting features.

Viewers will get to meet and find out more about local estate agents, discover the best properties on the market and be given tips and advice on areas such as interior design.

And if you’re looking for ideas on how to spend your evenings and weekends then the Free Time channel will be for you.

It will be packed full of features on events in the county and activities that you may not have considered trying and some that you may not even realised existed.

So there’s plenty to search and enjoy on Mustard Online – but this is only the beginning.

Ms Ryder said: “We are already thinking about channels we can offer online.

“We’re thinking about music, business, comedy, culture as well as a load of other nice channels.

“And we would love to get to the point where we are streaming live news and events.

“There is also the possibility for organisations to curate their own channels so Mustard Online has a lot to offer.”
