A north Norfolk seaside town welcomed more than 400 people to the lighting of its jubilee beacon this week.
Cromer’s four-day celebrations saw Monday end with the centrepiece of its Diamond Jubilee celebrations - the lighting of the town’s beacon.
A torchlight parade from the parish church to the cliff tops began proceedings and at 10.15pm the beacon was lit followed by a live performance from local solo guitarist, Guitar George.
As rockets soared into the sky he stepped forward to perform an electric guitar rendition of God Save the Queen on the east cliff’s gunnery control point.

What a night! I shall remember the experience of attending this for a long time. The report forgets to mention Ady Suleiman who sung and played with "Guitar George".
