Competitors had the chance to try out 14 different sports, including table tennis, golf, archery, gymnastics, climbing and fencing during the Adult Multi-sport Festival which aimed to provide a fun and safe sporting festival for adults with physical and/or learning disabilities.

Yesterday’s event was supported by a number of different clubs and organisations including BUILD, NANSA, Norfolk Special Olympics, Norfolk Dance and volunteers from Waitrose.

Speaking ahead of the event, Ellen Vanlint, project officer from Active Norfolk, said: “It is a fantastic platform for some of the clubs and organisations we have across Norfolk to showcase what they do and what can be done throughout the year.”
