Whether it is suggesting guests to be interviewed on The Mustard Show couch, highlighting great stories going on in your community for the daily news bulletin, or sending in your views on topical issues, the team at Mustard TV would love to hear from you.

'We are really passionate about this channel being for the people of Norfolk and we really want the people of Norfolk to get involved,' said Kate Wincup, producer of magazine programme The Mustard Show.

'We know how fabulous our region is and we want to showcase it to everybody else.

'The Mustard Show is going to be on every evening from Monday to Friday and we are going to be covering everything from history to cookery and business to fashion.

'It would be great to hear from anyone who has a great idea for what they would like to see on the show.

'It could be that they know of a brilliant character with a brilliant story to tell who would be great as a guest, or they could have a good idea for a challenge for our presenters Tom Vince and Dan Bancroft to undertake – they are already doing a rap battle and being sent to a circus and we would love to hear of other ideas we can challenge them with.

'People can also sends us their views for us to read out on the show.'

Mustard TV's daily news bulletin will be bringing viewers all the latest news at 5.30pm Monday to Friday and viewers are being encouraged to contact the team with their story ideas.

Rob Setchell, news editor, said: 'We want this to be truly local news – covering the people and places that matter to you.

'Whether something is informative or inspiring, emotive or entertaining; if it affects Norfolk's communities we want to know about it. Please get in touch by emailing news@mustardtv.co.uk and play a part in building a new valuable service for our county.'

Sport will also feature in the daily news bulletin, and there will also be two shows dedicated to Norwich City Football Club – 3 Up Front on Thursday and 3 Up Front Extra on Monday – plus another show on Friday called Sports And All which will look at everything that is happening in the local sports scene.

Sports editor Michael Bailey said: 'We can't wait to bring fresh coverage of Norwich City to TV screens, and we're looking for supporters who fancy themselves as a bit of a pundit for our 3 Up Front shows.

'But it won't just be the Canaries or football. The best thing is we can give clubs, teams, sports and future stars in Norwich and beyond their chance to shine. They just need to get in touch.'

Local charities, community groups and good causes also have the chance to apply to broadcast their own short films in Mustard TV's community airtime slots.

The Benjamin Foundation has created the first short film to feature and it looks at the work the charity does to support Norfolk teenagers and young adults who would otherwise be homeless. It is set to be broadcast several times during the channel's launch week.

Mustard TV producer and presenter Tom Vince said: 'Any local charity or community project that would be interested in having a film they have created about their group shown on Mustard TV should get in touch. The group needs to make the film themselves but the Mustard team would be happy to talk it through with them beforehand.'

Mustard TV goes on air on Freeview Channel 8 from 5.30pm on Monday. The Mustard Show will be on air Monday to Friday from 6.15pm until 7pm, and repeated at 8.15pm.
