A-ha! Filming for the new Alan Partridge movie has arrived in Norwich.

Partridge, otherwise known as comedian Steve Coogan, and the film’s crew parked up in a distinctive Radio Norwich van parked outside the Forum at around 11am.

The film crew have already been shooting scenes for the movie, due out in the autumn, in Cromer and Sheringham this week.

But today they have moved on to the capital of Nelson’s County to film what appears to be a police car chase, with several fake Norwich Police vehicles following Partridge in his van.

- For more photos and information about the filming, see tomorrow Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News.

  • Is that the scene where he does a spoof interview with Chloe Smith. Hang on, hasn't that been done already, with Paxman, when she pretended to be some junior flunky in the Treasury and completely fluffed her lines?

  • As long as none of the scenes involve a fake ambulance. It could cause mass hysteria and confusion to see an ambulance on the roads of Norfolk.
