Police have confirmed this afternoon that the 30-year-old woman motorcyclist who died following a crash in mid-Norfolk on Saturday was from the Poringland area, near Norwich.
We have reported how the woman died in hospital following the collision on the B1108 Watton Road at Barnham Broom, near Dereham.
She was riding a black Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle, which crashed with a silver Citroen Xsara at 3.10pm on Saturday.
She was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where she later died. The female driver of the car was not injured.
Police have not yet named the dead woman.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Team are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
Anyone who saw the crash or the manner of driving of either of the vehicles prior to the incident should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
