A LORRY which got stuck near a Great Yarmouth retail park has now been cleared.
The truck, which was carrying a trailer with metal piping, became lodged on Gapton Hall Road near the roundabout on the Bradwell bound carriageway at around 1.15pm.
Police were called and a spokesman said officers were working to recover the lorry.
A section of road surrounding the truck was closed but the area has now been cleared.
Emergency services were also called to an earlier incident, just yards from the site of the stuck lorry.
Three cars were involved in a collision on Beccles Road between the Mill Lane and Crab Lane junction. Emergency services were called at around 12.45pm and a woman was taken by ambulance to hospital.

When they were put there, they were put there for a good reason. Things have changed now, and there is no good reason, and they cause a lot more problems than they solve. Can BPC keep up with the changes?

I agree with V on this matter as there seems to be no end of HGV's getting stuck there or having to reverse all the way back down the road again.Philistine Parish council of Bradwell.

Time these pathetic narrows were removed, as this is a major road built for lorries, but the signage is rubbish. If they are going to the Co-op lorries have to go through residential areas or Bradwell itself. However Bradwell Parish Council do not want them to be remove, as, according to them, they do not want Lorries going through "their village", which is what is happening at the moment. What is Yarmouth councils standing on this ?.
