The roof of a taxi had to be cut away after a crash on a Norwich city centre road.
Firefighters cut away the roof of a taxi after a crash in Rouen Road.The taxi, which was carrying four passengers, was involved in a crash with a white van in Rouen Road at about 8.30pm last night.
Emergency services, including fire crews, an ambulance and police, were called to the scene.
With the driver of the taxi believed to have suffered a head injury, firefighters from Carrow, Earlham and Reepham spent more than an hour cutting away the taxi’s roof to get him out of the vehicle.
The road was closed while emergency services did their work and re-opened just before 11.15pm.
