Update: Loose manhole cover causes problems on Norwich-bound A140 carriageway

There were traffic delays on the A140 Norwich-bound carriageway in south Norfolk this morning after a manhole cover came loose.
Police were called to the scene, near Pulham Market, to make the scene safe.
The official Norfolk Police Twitter account was used shortly before 8am, saying: “#A140 #Pulham Market, Norwich-bound carriageway - large manhole cover obstructing the road. Police are on scene. Thank you for your calls.”
At 8.15am a Norfolk Constabulary spokesman said there was an officer on scene ensuring it was safe, while police wait for the Highways Agency to clear the scene.
The Highways Agency then took over to make the scene safe from 8.30am.
