Fire crews from Dereham and Reepham, along with the water carrier, with a support appliance from Fakenham, went to the fire in a timber building which was being renovated at a farm at Reepham Road, Foulsham.

Firefighters were called to the fierce blaze just after 8.30pm and had to ferry water from Foulsham because of limited supplies at the scene.

Police said they sealed the scene overnight, and investigators from both the fire service and the police will try to find out what caused the fire this morning.

Police said the building’s owner was devastated by the fire.
