There were delays on the A47 near Norwich this morning after a stray ladder caused two cars to crash.
The crash, involving a Vauxhall Corsa and a Rover, happened shortly before 10am on the eastbound carriageway of the A47 between the junction for the A140 Ipswich Road and A146 Trowse junction.
No one was injured in the crash and both cars and the ladder were recovered from the A47 by 11.10am.

It might be time for a concerted action including Vosa and the Police to make van drivers aware of the risk of unsecured loads, I will happily make time available to assist.

Let's hope the driver who lost the ladder gets given a minimum of 3 penalty points for insecure load, and the bill for the clear up operation.
