Police have said a number of roads in the Gillingham area are closed as a result of the helicopter crash.
The closures will are in place while investigations into the cause of the crash continue.
The following closures are in place:
A146 is closed at the Gillingham roundabout (McDonalds)
A146 Norwich Road is closed where it meets the junction with the A143, known as the Stockton roundabout
The junction of Rectory Road, Raveningham Road and Dog Lane is closed.
The A146 junction with Rectory Road is also closed, as is the Dog Lane junction with the A143.
The A143 junction with Hollow Way Hill is closed.
Diversions are in place from the Stockton roundabout, north on the A146 to Trowse, east on the A47 to Great Yarmouth, south on the A12 to Lowestoft, A1117 to the Oulton Broad, A146 to Beccles where the diversion ends at the Morrisons roundabout.
The closures have caused difficulties for buses.
Danny Beales, operations manager at First’s Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft depots, said: “A number of road closures along our normal X2 route from Norwich to Lowestoft via Loddon and Beccles mean that delays are inevitable. Unfortunately we are unable to serve Gillingham while a reduced service is running in Hales and Stockton.
“We ran extra services from Loddon during the morning peak to help commutes and a shuttle bus taking passengers from Loddon to Norwich will be operating for the rest of the day.
“We apologise for an inconvenience caused.”
