Update: Cyclist injured in Norwich crash remains in a serious condition

A cyclist who was left with potentially life changing head injuries after a crash in Norwich remains in a serious condition in hospital, according to police.
The incident took place on Monday, August 18 at around 5.55am on Earlham Green.
A white bTwin bicycle was travelling around the lane towards Larkman Lane when, close to the entrance to the Tesco petrol station, it was in collision with a white Ford Transit van.
The rider of the bicycle, a man in his 40s from the Norwich area, received serious, potentially life changing head injuries as a result of the collision.
He was initially taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital before being transferred to Addenbrookes Hospital for treatment, where he remains in a serious condition. The van driver was uninjured.
