Police are appealing for witnesses after two women were seriously injured in a crash near Attleborough.
It happened at 3.15pm on Friday, October 18, on the B1077 Attleborough Road between Great Ellingham and Attleborough.
The vehicles involved were a black Vauxhall Corsa, a silver Suzuki Vitara and a green Mercedes Sprinter van. The road was closed and re-opened at 8.40pm.
Two women suffered serious injuries. One, aged in her late teens, was driving the Corsa. The other female, in her mid 40s, was driving the Vitara. The van driver was unhurt.
Two ambulances and two air ambulances, both from the East Anglian Air Ambulance Service, were on the scene alongside police and fire crews.
The women were airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital trauma unit, one with a head injury and one with multiple trauma injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or who saw the manner of driving of the above vehicles just prior to or at the time of the collision itself. Anyone with information should contact PC 621 Gareth Jones of the Roads Policing Department at Wymondham on 101.
