Two teenagers have been charged in connection with the theft of a moped in Norwich.
It follows an incident in Randle Green, Costessey, on Wednesday, July 10, when officers attending a property in relation to a separate matter saw three people acting suspiciously with a moped.
It emerged the moped had been stolen and two people were detained at the scene and arrested.
Paula Murray, 19, of Motum Road, Norwich, and a 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have both now been charged with stealing a Honda CBR 125.
Both have been released on conditional bail. Murray will appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Thursday, September 5 and the 16-year-old will attend youth court on Tuesday.
A third suspect arrested in connection with the incident, a 19-year-old man, has been released without charge.
