Two paintings by Norfolk artist Sir Alfred Munnings are expected to fetch more than £1.5m at an auction in America.
It is thought a 1920s oil painting called Portrait of Miss Ruth Brady on Bugle Call will go for between £1m and £1.4m while another picture, A Hunting Morn, painted in about 1902, is set to reach between £77,000 and £116,000.
Both will be auctioned at Sotheby's in New York on May 24.
The picture of American heiress Ruth Brady was painted by Munnings in about 1927, the year she turned 18.
A Hunting Morn is thought to be of the Norwich Staghounds and was painted in or around 1902, when Munnings was in his mid 20s and living and working in Norfolk.
Munnings, a miller's son born at Mendham, Suffolk, in 1878, started his working life at 14 as an apprentice poster artist and attended Norwich School of Art for two hours each evening.
