During the four-hour strike (from 6pm to 10pm), the fire control room took two calls both of which were attended by firefighters.

Both were road traffic collisions - one in the Marsham area, and another in the Hainford area.

In both incidents, crews made vehicles and the surrounding area safe and assisted police and ambulance services.

Today’s strike action in Norfolk was part of a national strike undertaken by the FBU over changes to the national pension scheme.
