A fundraiser celebrating the third birthday of Tia's Treasures has done just grand - raising over £1000.

The event on Saturday hosted by Tia Hutchinson from Gorleston drew plenty of support with dozens of stalls offering a range of a fun activities and products.

Among the tables set out at the Cliff Hotel was one of Tia's own selling the handmade jewellery and trinkets she started making for charity at the age of six.

Tia's mum Lisa said the day had gone really well with Cinderella and Punch and Judy proving particularly popular.

A total of £1058 was raised - their second best ever - to be shared between Autism Anglia, SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society Norfolk) and The Ryan Appeal.

Nine-year-old Tia had been planning the event since October and has already booked the room again, although the format of the next fundraiser is undecided.

She had worked really hard whizzing about and arranging the room to her own design, each table sporting a handmade Easter/thank you card, her proud said.

The day began with entertainment from DJ Dave Starbuck, a special visit from Cinderella, Punch and Judy, facepainting, balloon modelling, raffle, tombola, craft stalls and mascots.

At the end children were given a piece of the Tia's Treasures third birthday cake which featured the Tia's Treasures Monkey Mascot donated by Sarah Reade.

Among those contributing to the success of the day were the Cliff Hotel, Harbour Radio, Beach Radio, DJ Dave Starbuck, Gemma B, Dale, The Fantastical Entertainment Company, MANTA Entertainments, Special Occasions, Sunshine Artists, Sarah Hartley Photography, Hopton Ghost Hunters, Something to Savour, Catdelicious, Kez-Shel Creation, Great Yarmouth Star Wars, The Gorleston Green Ranger, Brett Day who was painting live and donating 50pc of the proceeds of every painting sold, Hippy Twists, Punch and Judy by Liam, Sue and Ashley, Kelly and Kaci, Zoe and Ben, Rache, Anita, Leanne and Paul, Donna, Gwen, Georgia, Nan, Lisa, Dave, Nathan, Nettie, Shannon, Alana, William, Thomas, Beki, Jane and Norman who travelled all the way from Northampton to support Tia's Treasures after reading about Tia whilst here on holiday, Sarah, First Bus, Norwich City Football Club and all those who donated the overwhelming amount of raffle prizes.
