Three vehicle accident on Dereham Road leaves two in hospital

Two people have been left in hospital after a three-vehicle collision in Norwich earlier today.

Police were called to the collision, which happened Bowthorpe Road and the Dereham Road junction, involving two cars and a van at around 12.15pm.

The casualties are believed to have suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Fire crews from Earlham and Carrow cut the roof off one of the vehicles and assisted in making the scene safe.

The road has now been reopened.
