Detectives are appealing for information following the robbery that happened near to the BP garage in Dereham Road at around 12.30am on Saturday.

As the 19-year-old victim went into the alleyway he spotted three people. As they walked past one asked the victim what he was carrying before punching him in the head. The victim was left unconscious as a result of the attack and sustained cuts and bruises to his face.

The three, who stole a bottle of Cava from the victim, were dressed in dark clothing. Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident or found a discarded bottle in an Aldi carrier bag in the area.
