Police are appealing for witnesses after the victim was attacked on Marine Parade between midnight and 1am on March 7. The teenager was on his way home after a night out when a male approached him and asked for a light.

When the victim replied he didn’t have one, he was punched in the face. He then fell to the floor and was set upon by the male and two other others who kicked him whilst he was on the ground.

The victim sustained a broken arm in the incident.
