Changes to the Facebook newsfeed have been announced by Mark Zuckerberg, but what does this mean for us?
Mr. Zuckerberg is keen to see more conversations between friends and family in the Facebook newsfeed and less interaction from publishers and big brands.
The changes are welcomed by many who believe Facebook has become an array of adverts and videos, however it also means that posts from smaller, local companies will be much less prominent as you scroll through your newsfeed.
If you have noticed you're no longer seeing our Facebook page near the top of your newsfeed, a simple alteration can ensure you are still the first to receive all of our local and breaking news we publish to Facebook throughout the day.
1. On your profile go to Help and Settings.
2. Then, go to News Feed Preferences and then click on 'Prioritise who to see first'.
3. From here, you can pick who you would like to more of - whether that be friends, family, or even Facebook pages like us.
Alternatively, go to the Facebook page you wish to read more from, and tap the 'following' button (next to the 'like' button), followed by the 'see first' button. You can make these changes on your tablet, phone, or computer.
