England supporters in South Africa during the last World Cup

With final preparations under way for the start of the World Cup, we are asking if you want to be involved in our coverage of the tournament.

We want to hear from you if you are travelling from the region to Brazil or, if you are staying here, what plans you have to make the most of the event.

The tournament is predicted to provide a sales boost for retailers, pubs and restaurants, many of which are planning promotions and events.

A new report claims that should England get through to the second round of the Cup, the boost will be £1.3 billion. Should the team get to the final, fans are predicted to spend £2.58 billion, the study claims.

Our coverage kicks off in earnest in Thursday’s EDP with a 48 page supplement with profiles of the team’s involved and the top players.
