Norfolk’s gone running mad. Every Saturday morning at 9am a small army of runners, of varying ages and different standards, descend upon their local park to take part in Parkrun.
The event sees them run 5km before a team of volunteers collect and collate their results on the Parkrun website.
The event has become a national phenomenon and there are now nine across Norfolk and North Suffolk alone, with a tenth set to open at Blickling Hall in November.
This Saturday is International Parkrun Day and to celebrate that, as well as a new course at Catton Park, in Norwich, we will be on hand to photograph all nine events.
See Monday’s papers to see if you made the cut.
