Lester Robbins’ body was recovered from the river after his green Nissan Micra plunged into the river from the bank near Ferry Road, just after 5pm on Sunday, July 8.

Today’s Norwich inquest heard that Mr Robbins was a 50-year-old married bus driver from Waterhouse, Porters Way, Polegate, East Sussex. A post mortem examination was carried out but the cause of death has not been established, and the inquest was adjourned.
