The Hamlet Centre Trust will be looking extra festive this Christmas after being given the gift of lots of seasonal decorations from a Thorpe St Andrew supermarket.

Sainbury’s, in Pound Lane, donated the gold and green decorations – which match the Hamlet Centre’s logo colours – to the trust’s Children’s Services’ centre in Johnson Place, Norwich.

The supermarket has also previously raised thousands of pounds for the charity.

The Hamlet Centre Trust began as a small toy library and was founded in 1972 by Jack and Margaret Wymer.

Nowadays the trust operates from three locations and provides support to children and young adults with disabilities and complex health needs.

Every year more than 400 families across Norfolk and North Suffolk use the wide range of facilities on offer at the Hamlet Centre Trust.
